Obviously, this won’t compete with a DJI Phantom or anything of that sort, but to be honest, for the price, you’re getting a lot. There’s two batteries included, the controller is easy to use, and this little thing can go to pretty high altitudes. When I first got it, I was super excited and after charging one battery up, I decided to fly it around my room, indoors. To be quite honest, I was pretty disappointed, since it crashed into the walls and the ceiling and was super hard to control. To be fair though, I’ve never flown any kind of drone before. However, once I got outside, this thing was a breeze to learn how to use. I instantly got it to at least 100-150 feet in the air, I was actually a bit scared it would go too high since I was technically flying it too close to an airport, and at that height I was still able to change the direction in which I wanted it to fly with relative ease. I never got around to using the “fly back” function or whatever it’s called but I did try headless mode, which worked pretty well, considering this thing is merely $20. The remote controller runs on 3 AAA batteries, and I think they’ll last in it quite a while cause I’ve been using it for a few weeks and the controller still functions as it did on Day 1. The battery in the drone itself last for about 5-7 minutes, which for its size, is pretty nice. From my experience, it’s also built really well as it crashed into asphalt probably over a dozen times, and it still performs like a beast after all thatr

Tons of fun, works great

Pretty damn cool!!! I’m like a 35 year old kid playing with this mini drone. Pretty self explanatory.. Takes a bit of getting used to as far as the controls go but after 5 minutes I had it hovering around in my living room no problem. Comes with many screw driver as well as extra propeller blades in case one of them gets broken. 2 rechargeable batteries included.. I regret I got a little more than 5 minutes of flight time before needing a recharge which for a tiny battery is not bad. Fun product..very small about the size of the palm of my hand. Our cat was having a blast playing with it lol

Amazingly Fun and Durable Little Drone!

I was skeptical…it’s a little drone that doesn’t cost much, but I figured it would be fun for my kids. Wow, I was wrong, this thing is so much fun to play with. Not sure if the kids will get it after all…my thoughts are below:

A little tough to get the hang of, but fun and reasonably indestructible

This is a fun low-risk entry level drone. I don’t have that much experience flying drones myself, but that said, I found this one hard to fly primarily because it doesn’t have any altitude holding function. This just means that you have to keep a thumb on the throttle control and constantly adjust it. It definitely takes some practice to get any consistency in this. Fortunately, this thing seems capable of taking a beating with no ill effects observed so far. I’ve crashed it into the ceiling, bounced it off the floor, and had intimate liaisons with walls and bookcases around my apartment and it doesn’t seem to mind. I haven’t even tried operating it in “fast” mode yet.

Father’s Day is swiftly approaching and I wanted a really cool present for my Dad for Father’s Day. He likes technical things and use to teach at a technical college. He was surrounded by people who had drones and always wanted one. This is a pocket drone. I am giving this four stars because it is so tiny and took a long time to put together. You almost need jeweler’s goggles to assemble it. I can see why the suggested age is 14 though. Once you have the patience to finally assemble it, it is a lot of fun. The drone orients itself to the remote and is perfect for a beginner, like my Dad. There is a home button that enables the drone to go back home instead of chasing after it and losing it in a neighboring yard. It’s lightweight and you need a non-windy day. My Dad enjoys playing with it and he and the grandkids enjoy it. The dogs also like to follow it around in the yard too. It’s fun for the whole family, but definitely geared towards older kids with all the small pieces.
